A splash of color in Baross street    -    2016. 02. 15.

100 years ago Budapest was a much more colorful city than today, lively and brave colours were used in architecture at the turn of the century. That's why we tried to bring a little turquoise freshness to the Palace District.

In district 8 Baross Street there is an eclectic dwelling house, built around 1890, for which attic’s construction we designed a concept plan. The planned floor extension is hardly perceptible from the pavement level due to the narrow street. The new mass is floating easily over the existing building and does not rest on it. The extension brings a fresh color into the life of the street and the building.
